The school established a support arm. Lapu-Lapu City Foundation for Science and Technology, Inc. with member ship from different government, non-government and industry-based executives.
With authority from the Secretary of Education and funding from MERALCO Foundation, Inc. the school evolved its enhanced curriculum employing the Developing A Curriculum (DACUM) process participated by eight (8) levels of workers of leading company at MEPZ from top managers to bottom, based on emerging trends and demands of the Filipino by the 2000 and beyond. The DACUM was also facilitated and participated in by the experts in the academe of the region.
The curriculum was validated in a manpower congress with the Fairchild Semiconductor and TaiyoYuden participated by curriculum experts from DECS, TESDA, CHED and other countries.
The mission for the school was crafted in a one-day visioning and two (2) steering sessions participated by the foundation composed of the following highly capable persons:

The school has a hectare site on a 50-year lease occupied by Mactan International Airport. The Basak Barangay Hall has 5 hectares which now houses the Barangay Hall, playground and gymnasium.
School is a Model for the Total Development of children with equal emphasis on the child’s formation of his intellect and the will.
The school gained a lot of partners to advance its reforms and innovations and lead in the country’s trail blazing breakthroughs. The high school with technical and funding assistance from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region VII, the CITIBANK through Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), the Cathay Pacific Building through the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, for the Information and Communication Technology room. The Angelo King Building for the Speech Laboratory, the Congressman and Congresswoman of the 6th District of Cebu province Hon. Efren T. Herrera and Hon. Nerissa Soon-Ruiz, the Aboitiz Group Foundation, Inc. for the Science Building, Books form Hayward University through Fairchild Semiconductor, Computer tables and chairs from Mrs. Nancy St. John-Pond, wife of the President of Fairchild Semiconductor, tables from Maitland-Smith, TIMEX Philippines, steel cabinets, dividers, tables from Fairchild Semiconductor.
The school had its full support from the city government. With the support of Lapu-Lapu City Foundation for Science and Technology, Inc., the school is doing extremely well in achieving its mission.
